Here is short movie from hight frame camera on the launch umbilical tower, while Apollo 11 is being launched to space, July 16, 1969. Camera is running at 500 fps, making 30 seconds appear as 8 minutes, narration is done by Mark Gray, executive producer for Spacecraft Films.
So I have got my newest addition to photography equipment Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5x Macro Lens and Macro Twin Lite MT-24 EX flash. Here are some of experimental shots just to test it, from 1x to 5x life size from left to right (Sony Ericsson phone sign). More to come after I get some time to explore macro world.

Bookmaker Johnny Carrera of Quercus Press found old Pictorial Webster’s International Dictionary, from 1898, under his grandfather’s chair, in the summer of 1995. He was so fascinated by this finding, that he spent next decade of his life to remake the book using a Linotype machine. It is fully hand made and full process can be viewed on this video. One copy of remade book costs $3500.

So lately I was working on some test short animation rendered in Maya and composed in After Effects, just to learn some new skills. Here is one test scene not final but some progress 
. It took about ~1000 frames rendered in Maya, at ~1 minute render time per frame in Mental-Ray and 5 h composing. (I should have added some music ).

GoPro HD HERO camera is created to capture good quality video in extreme sports and one of the key is image stability, which is almost perfect in this camera. Take a look at some of footage it has captured.
